The Assessment
The Hippoz Assessment module is a curriculum-embedded tool for assessing 2 to 5-year old children in their preschool classrooms. It was developed to be a companion to articulate comprehensive performance standards or learning outcomes. The objective is always, “Discovering the Child’s Aptitude & Inclinations”.

By the end of Hippoz education, children are expected to:

1. Demonstrate a sense of self learning
2. Demonstrate a sense of responsibility to oneself and others
3. Demonstrate effective functioning, individually and as a member of a group
4. Demonstrate coordination and strength in fine-motor tasks
5. Participate in healthy physical activity
6. Practice appropriate eating habits, hygiene and self-help skills
7. Demonstrate the ability to think, reason, question and remember
8. Use language to communicate, convey and interpret meaning
9. Establish social contacts as they begin to understand the physical and social world
10. Use different art forms as a vehicle for creative expression and representation
11. Develop an appreciation of the arts
